Ape Racing prepares for battle in 2005!
date added: -0-05-20We are just putting the final touches to the bike before the opening of the season next weekend (30/1/2 May). Miguel and Sideshow spent a day on Taffspeed Racing's dyno, on 22 April, setting up the bike and testing the rebuilt engine. With Ian Franklands careful help we have ironed out the carburration problems we had last year and liberated a healthy 11.6 BHP. Very pleased!
ApeRacing - Now we just twist and go.
date added: -0-04-20We have been doing up a Piaggio NRG found in the bowels of Taffspeed Racing's Workshop in Newport over the last year. The weekend before Rowrah race we had it running so we took it up to Rowrah but didn't get a chance to run it very much.
Last weekend I did, at Suzuki Owners Club Mopedathon at Finmere near Buckingham, when i rode the NRG for a 5 hour event on an airstrip track for charity.

date added: -0-04-20We arrived at 1.30am on Saturday morning, and went through the hateful ritual of setting up a brand new tent in the dark on ground with no soil, tired and frozen. Thank the gods for massive steel rock-pegs and a sledgehammer....
