Welcome
22 - 10 - 99 - We are well chuffed!!! APE RACING hit an 8th on the weekend up at Rowrah. with just three riders and dirty hangovers. That pushed us up to 6th position (unconfirmed) in Class 2 which is a difference of a mere 10 positions compared to last year. Thanks to our support, Esma for letting me go out and play, Ben for wishing for an AP50, Lyndon for getting up to North and all in Wales with engineering know how. Also for those up at Rowrah., yes we did drive up with our bike in the car - anyone wishing to sell us a van please contact us - Sweet.
A plea - if anyone who was camping on the hill top near us at meeting 4
Rowrah., found an interesting little rock - may have been dropped on Sunday
near the old time clock position on the side of the start straight (about 1"
long and actually made out of metal) please call me as its my good luck meteor
and I am properly gutted that it is missing. There is a reward of fat dollars.
Call me on 0117 9254286 and ask for Mike.
Keep a look out and tell your friends as I'm dead if I can't find it.
13 - 10 - 99 - Hi everyone - now we're back on line after a busy summer
we've finally received the Anglesea results. APERACING are now sitting in 8th
position in class 2 compared to our best for 1998 that was 16th position. We've
a shed load of images that Sideshow Bob is busy scanning (or drinking - which
is most likely?) that are due shortly. There are also a few revisions due for
those still stuck at 640 by 480 resolution.
28 - 07 - 99 - New updates to the links section. If you want to be listed,
just drop me a URL on the above amyl address.
14 - 07 - 99 - New updates to the team section. Take a look at Sideshow
Bob [thanx to Steve for that one] and old man miguel himself.
12 - 07 - 99 - We've now got the results for Rowrah. Every lap time is recorded
so when I can work out how excel works I'll have some graphs and stuff up on
the site. We also have complete listings for all classes - if anyone wants to
have a look.
05 - 07 - 99 - New Amendments this week - check out the new gallery section
with images from Anglesea June 1999 - Results and much more to follow soon.
We're bruised and battered but not beaten. APERACING have just returned from a fast and furious weekends racing up at Ty Croes in Anglesea, UK. First prize for a superb crash goes out to Tham Evans who managed to wipe out in practise, stressing the ligaments in his collar bone - taking the whole circuit to a standstill. We counted 13 points of contact on the bike. Bending just about everything that could be bent. Second prize goes to Mike Karthauser who managed to get nudged once, knocked off and then ridden over by team 87. He also managed to pick up a puncture that stopped play in our last few hours of racing. Steve stepped in to take Tham's place on Sunday and came a cropper on the hairpin. James Duffy dropped off into mud without any damage. All very well done.
Thanx to the girls, Esma, Sara, Katie & Louise for a sterling job in supporting the madness of the team. Keep an eye out for their antics as there is a rumour of a side car team........
Check out new amendments to this site in the next couple of weeks.
Mind out of the way. The aperacer's are out.....
